Jessica Blaisdell Williams is an artist, designer, educator, and author with more than 35 years of creative and professional experience. Her artistic roots began early with a strong focus on realistic face drawing using pencils and acrylic paints, often influenced by poetry, music lyrics, and the expressive qualities of human features and emotion.
She studied art education K–12 for four years, building a foundation that blends creativity with teaching and communication. Jessica also holds a substitute teaching license, Pre-K through 12, All Facets of Education, allowing her to work across grade levels and subject areas.
In addition to education, Jessica has spent decades developing skills in graphic design, web design, book publishing, digital art, and mixed media—both traditional and digital. Her work consistently bridges fine art, technology, and storytelling.

Jessica became co-owner and president of Rock Studios Incorporated, earning the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business of the Year Award (Nebraska, 2000). She later worked as a graphic designer and went on to serve as a software trainer and lead creative trainer for Apple, managing a team of seven and teaching users of all ages to push creative and professional software to its limits.
She is also the author of several published works, including A Journey to Home – A Preemie Baby Book and NICU Journal (Amazon), 100 of Me – Children’s Book (Amazon and EPUB), and The Memoirs of a Man – Bob Rapp Biography (self-published on Blurb.com).
Across art, education, and design, Jessica continues to blend creativity, technology, and teaching into work that informs, inspires, and endures.

Jessica’s work is driven by a desire to create meaningful, visually rich experiences that connect people to stories, memory, and emotion. Whether working on canvas, screen, or page, she values depth, texture, and thoughtful design over trends.
Through her current venture, Grey’s Lion (greyslion.com), she explores mixed-media canvases and ephemeral artwork using image transfers, vintage photography, paints, stains, and layered finishes. The vision behind Grey’s Lion is to create art that feels timeless, tactile, and personal—while remaining adaptable across physical and digital spaces.
